This year’s N-CSA Annual General Meeting will be held at the historic Gutierrez-Hubbell House in Albuquerque’s South Valley. This will be held in conjunction with their annual Fall Festival and an event hosted by The Oveja Project which promotes raising sheep in New Mexico.
Dates: Friday, October 25, 2024 and Saturday, October 26, 2024.
Some of their activities include promotion of wool pellet production and lamb & mutton sales at farmer’s markets.
They are planning a Navajo-Churro Rug show, a Native Regalia show, and a “Make it with Wool” garment show with a fashion show.
There will also be a sheep show, a wool show, and many educational speakers. The AGM banquet will be held at Abuelita’s restaurant. Fifteen rooms will be reserved at the Isleta Casino Hotel. Stay tuned for more details as they emerge.
